Family Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner or PA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients of all ages within a divers medical practice which includes family medicine and Occupational Healthcare. This position offers the opportunity to learn and grow into new healthcare services.
Duties:
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments for patients across the lifespan
- Provide primary care services including diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic illnesses
- Utilize coding systems accurately for billing and documentation purposes
- Implement infection control measures to maintain a safe healthcare environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Focus on geriatric care with sensitivity to the unique needs of elderly patients
- Conduct laboratory tests and interpret results to guide treatment plans
Requirements:
- Current valid Nurse Practitioner license in [State].
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and health assessments
- Experience in providing primary care services in a family practice and Pediatric practice setting
- Knowledge of coding systems for accurate billing and documentation
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, particularly pediatric/adult populations
