Qualifications:
Recovery Support Professional: High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license and clean 3 year driver record preferred, ability to interact effectively with clients and aid them in adjusting to their specific problems, Basic knowledge of substance use and mental health disorders, Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff and other agencies, and the public, ability to successfully work with others from various cultures and backgrounds, ability to work various shifts, and basic computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft Outlook for email and Word and Excel.
Recovery Support Supervisors: High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license and clean 3 year driver record preferred, ability to interact effectively with clients and aid them in adjusting to their specific problems, basic knowledge of substance use and mental health disorders, ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff and other agencies, and the public, ability to work various shifts, and basic computer skills, including ability to use Microsoft Outlook for email and Word. Applicants with minimum of 60 college credits must have at least 1 year of experience working in a residential behavioral health program setting; applicants with high school diploma or GED must have at least 3 years of experience working in a residential behavioral health program setting.
Child Care Workers: High School Diploma or GED and knowledge of D & A abuse/treatment. One (1) year in residential services or successful completion of residential D & A treatment program, plus residential experience for equivalent of one (1) year.
Administrative Support: High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s Degree preferred and at least 5 year of administrative experience in an office environment.
Substance Abuse/Addiction Counselors: All counseling candidates must have, at minimum, an Associate’s Degree with two “2” years’ clinical experience “OR” a Bachelor’s degree with at least one “1” year of clinical experience. All experience must have been performed in the Human Services field. Pennsylvania Licensure Requirements: All applicants must hold a professional license through DOC or be credentialed through PCB at the time of hire “OR” being working toward licensure or certification with a completion date of no longer than 3 years after date of hire. Acceptable certification and licensures include, but are not limited to: CAC, CADC, LCADC, LSW, LICSW, LGSW, etc.
Clinical Supervisors: Must possess, at minimum, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with a major in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or human services) or other related field and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with individuals with substance use disorder or a Master’s degree from an accredited college with a major in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or human services) or other related field and 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with individuals with substance use disorders.Must have a clinical license through the Department of State or be certified as a Certified Clinical Supervisor through the PCB or must be working toward licensure or certification with a completion date of 7/1/24 or no later than 3 years of hire date.
Division Director: Must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in medicine, psychology, social work, counseling, public administration, business management, nursing (with specialty in nursing/health administration) plus specialized training in a relevant area e.g. women and children, HIV/AIDS, mental health,criminal justice, adolescents, etc. At least 5 years in progressively responsible and varied program management, or multi-site management, in a public or private organization, including experience in human resource management, budgeting and operations.
Deputy Director: Must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in relevant human services or business administration field, plus specialized training.10 years in progressively responsible and varied program management, or multi-site management, in a public or private organization, including experience in human resource management, budgeting and procurement
Registered Nurses: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of experience. Must possess a current RN license in good standing and have a valid CPR certification. Experience in addictions, mental health or related specialty is a plus!
Licensed Practical Nurses: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. Must have a valid and in good standing LPN license and have a valid CPR certification with at least two year’s of experience.
