Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk or Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, inputting, updating, maintaining, and retrieving data into and from computer systems such as Adobe and MS Excel.
Candidates must pass a critical thinking and/or Excel assessment to be considered for this role.
This is an open-ended contract for 30+ days with the potential to be hired on permanently. All work is required onsite in our Reston office, 40 hours per week, with eligibility for overtime if approved.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data into appropriate databases and update records as needed
- Transcribe information from source documents accurately
- Organize files and collect data to be entered into the computer
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic math skills for data entry tasks
- Familiarity with databases and data entry software
- Ability to work with pivot tables for data analysis
- Experience in order entry processes is a plus
- Previous office experience preferred
