Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Nurse to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings, providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and policies
- Assess patient conditions and develop appropriate care plans
- Administer medications, including injections, as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures
- Document patient information accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner)
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment
- Assist with procedures such as spinal taps or ophthalmology exams as needed
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, including infants and children
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Valid nursing license
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in acute care settings
- Experience working with pediatric patients preferred
- Proficient in administering injections and other medical procedures
- Strong knowledge of infection control practices
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Cerner)
