Job Description:
Dominion Financial Services (DFS) is a mortgage originator for single family real estate. DFS originates two main loan products – a short term bridge loan for fix & flip investors, and a long-term rental loan for landlords growing their rental portfolios. DFS is thriving in the current competitive environment and shows aggressive quarterly growth. Our current origination volume is $70MM per month. DFS is looking for a detail-oriented Chief Credit Officer to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:
- Act as loan committee to provide approvals / modifications on new originations, extensions and workouts for loans held on balance sheet

Business development for DFS’s Lender Finance business

Design & maintain DFS’s risk management and compliance policies & procedures

Manage classified assets throughout the loss mitigation process

Monitor covenants in capital market loan documents & MLPAs to maintain compliance
Requirements-
Strong familiarity with the business purpose lending space

Direct construction management & real estate valuation experience
- 10yrs+ of residential real estate investment experience
-
10yrs+ of experience managing teams
- 5yrs+ of legal experience on an institutional capital markets context
Preferred Qualifications-
1-4 unit residential development experience a plus
