Duties:
- Perform technical duties in a medical setting
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and checking in patients
- Maintain medical records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Code and bill medical procedures and services accurately
- Provide support to physicians during patient visits
- Experience with EHR charting
- Experience with AR, Optos, VF, ERG, refraction is helpful.
-Experience with contact lens training.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical setting, preferably in optometry
- Familiarity with EHR or other electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact with patients and their families in a professional manner
- Proficient in retail math calculations for processing payments and handling financial transactions
