We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our amazing team! The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or medical provider. LPNs on our team fill vital nursing roles caring for patients while also taking part in team oriented healthcare. Responsibilities:
- Assume a professional role as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the healthcare team
- Monitor patient vitals; detect changes in symptoms, health, and/or pain
- Administer medications
- Provide routine nursing cares to patients as dictated by current care plans
- Set up for procedures with appropriate tools; maintain a full inventory of supplies
- Assist providers with procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Communicate clearly and directly with patients; provide emotional support to patients and family members under stress
- Fill out and update patient documents and charts
Licensed Practical Nurse Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate Degree in nursing
- Valid state nursing license
- Experience as a nurse in a clinic, hospital, LTC/rehab or other health care setting
- Understanding of standard medical practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and great bedside manner
