A typical work day begins with the arrival to a client location at 6:00am, which may require travel of up to 2-hrs. (NB: Typical travel time to and from client locations averages about forty-five minutes.) Travel requires the use of a personal vehicle. All client related mileage is reimbursed at the current maximum allowable IRS Regulation and is included as part of the biweekly paychecks.
Most administrative paperwork is encouraged to be completed at home the same day. Thus, in field work varies between 4 1/2 to 6 hours each day to allow for reporting and travel.
Some client employees may present a challenge to work with. Though few have been aggressive, there exists a potential for a disgruntled client employee to create a difficult work environment.
Clients typically observe a five day work week with observances of national holidays. Working on weekends and on national holidays is a rare occurrence.
