Registered Nurse - Admissions
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Admissions Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients, coordinating admissions, and providing exceptional care to our patients. Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission
- Coordinate and facilitate the admission process for new patients
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Perform IV insertions and administer IV infusions as needed
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, progress, and response to treatment
- Assist with ventilating patients as necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [LOCATION]
- Minimum of [X] years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to identify changes in patient condition
- Experience with pediatric patients is highly desirable

- Ability to lift and move patients when necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
