We are seeking driven, motivated individuals looking to make an impact! As a Quality Control Technician at Repair Authority, you will be responsible for quality control and inspection of medical equipment that services patients' need in their home including oxygen concentrators, CPAP/BiPAPs, ventilators and more. A qualified candidate for this role must possess exceptional attention to detail to ensure the equipment that has been repaired and passes company standards and manufacturer requirements. The work you do is critical to the end user patient that requires this life saving equipment. No experience is necessary for this role. Come with a desire to learn something new and we'll provide all of the training necessary for you to be successful!
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of finished equipment.
- Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
- Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions.
- Investigate or report questionable test results.
- Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, and protocols.
- Receive equipment into ERP system.
- Lookup warranty information for incoming equipment.
- Evaluating information to determine compliance with standards.
- Maintaining equipment service records in an ERP software system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in medical equipment repair a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills to use ERP software systems.
- Maintain safety guidelines and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Physically able to lift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for long-periods of time, up to 8 hours per day.
