POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Director of Residential and Shelter Operations for CPLC will be responsible for supervision of the Program Directors in the assigned service provision area to include shelters, and other residential programs for unaccompanied children. Duties will include supervision, monitoring, evaluations, working closely with funding source(s), interacting with departments within the organization and exploring new program opportunities within the unaccompanied children shelter and residential space. All duties will be performed based on supervisory training, with minimal supervision. The Senior Director of Residential and Shelter Operations is directly supervised by the Vice President of Refugee and Humanitarian Services or designee. This position may involve non-traditional working hours, and on-call availability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Master's Degree in a Social Services or related field, with at least three (3) years of experience managing programs serving at risk youth and families with supervisory responsibilities. OR Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or related field with at least five (5) years of experience managing programs serving at risk youth and families with supervisory responsibilities
Supervisory experience in monitoring and quality assurance of behavior/case management, budget management, personnel management, conflict resolution, cultural diversity awareness, overall office management, group or family counseling, youth services, residential, educational or institutional settings and advocacy
At least 2 years of experience working in a leadership role within an ORR residential program preferred
Must obtain a clear result from a criminal background check
Possess excellent oral and written skills
Proficient in MS Office programs and data analysis reporting
Ability to travel as often as needed to maintain quality programs
