Bruce Orthodontics is an upscale, fast paced, patient centered orthodontic practice with 5 locations in Northern, WI.
We are seeking a highly skilled patient coordinator who is able to multi task with grace and ease. You are the patient's first point of contact and will contribute to the success of the practice by delivering the highest quality of customer service, interpersonal communication, accurate data collection, and patient satisfaction.
You will build and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and patients, serving as a liaison between patients, clinical staff, and treatment coordinator.
Your computer, interpersonal and organization skills will be highly important and valued.
The Patient Coordinator (receptionist) is responsible for:
- Welcoming patients and visitors to our office
- Greeting and assisting patients with check in / check out and inquiries
- Providing accurate and friendly customer service, while remaining positive and calm in all circumstances
- Answering calls on a multiple-line phone system
- Scheduling and confirming appointments in person, over the phone and email
- Collecting patient payments
- Providing excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive and personal information
Additional responsibilities include working with our existing Treatment Coordinator:
- Advising patients of treatment needs, insurance coverage and financial arrangements
- Verifying, submitting and coordinating orthodontic benefits with insurance companies
- Composing financial plans before new patients starts
- Managing billing and accounts receivables
- Collecting patient payments and entering insurance payments into our computer system (Dolphin Management)
- Investigating status of orthodontic claims, taking appropriate measures to process claims in an accurate and timely manner
**Pay rate will depend on previous experience - Scheduling experience (preferred)**
