The Ford Network Operations (NetOps) team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Ford’s global network infrastructure (Ford datacenters, network hubs/colos, manufacturing plants, office buildings, etc.). This includes Wireless, Local Area Network (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Software Defined Networks, Policy/Security Controls, etc. This position is for a Customer Network Analyst (CNA), a NetOps team member, based in Dearborn, Michigan. This is NOT a remote position. Onsite presence is required.
You'll have…
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in design and operation of Cisco LAN/WAN/Wireless networks
- Deep understanding of Cisco infrastructure architecture (network, storage, and hosting)
- Tier-2/3 support experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment
- Expert level troubleshooting skills in Cisco routers, switches, wireless, SDWAN and SD-Access
- Problem-solver mindset with a passion for learning new technologies; skilled in grasping the big picture, conceptualizing, developing, and implementing solutions, and partnering closely with business leaders and IT business towers
- Experience managing large global network infrastructure projects

- Current Cisco CCNP/CCDP or equivalent experience
