Summary:
As a field-based, frontline salesperson, the Driver Sales Route Representative is the primary point of contact for their assigned accounts. They are the customer-facing, human face of the company for their customers as they seek to provide excellent service and solutions to grow high performing beverage programs. The DSR works daily to grow volume, distribution, and total brand health in their markets in a way that is profitable and efficient. Successful reps are highly organized, accountable, competitive to a fault, and prolific communicators who love the variety of days spent at retail.
Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):
Execution of weekly Sales Route
Utilizes technology (i.e., iPhone, VIP Delivery, VIP Sales, Karma) to complete sales and delivery reporting at account level.
Works closely with customers and operations to provide smart, efficient delivery service.
Call on accounts according to assigned schedule.
Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to keep all accounts in good financial standing.
Adheres to all sales standards, for example: P.O.S., rotation, dress code etc.
Complete required trainings (i.e., on boarding process, sales selling skills, software, etc.)
Communicates competition activity/pricing information to their supervisor.
Attends all required sales functions (meetings, promotions etc.).
Develops and maintains relationships with decision makers at all accounts.
Engages in daily professional communications (i.e., voicemail and e-mail).
Investigates and resolves customer problems with sales and deliveries

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three to six months related sales or retail grocery experience and/or training.

Must have a valid driver’s license with a good record and access to a reliable vehicle. Able to obtain DOT Physical card in order to operate CMV’s. Must be able to pass a motor vehicle/background check and drug screen.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must continuously lift 50 lbs. and/or occasionally move up to 250 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance and color vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
