Nova Counseling is a growing leader in specialized addiction and therapy services. Our therapists have extensive training in treating betrayal trauma, addiction, infidelity and other general mental health issues. We provide care across Pennsylvania & Illinois and are actively expanding our reach.

Role Overview
As a Licensed Therapist you can assist clients in creating a path to long-term recovery and wellness. You will provide services including individual, couples, family and/or group therapy sessions. In this position, you have the ability to walk alongside clients as they choose to change, heal, and grow. You will collaborate with our founder and growing team of therapists, and work directly with clients providing services that enable them to find healing and freedom.
Responsibilities
- Establish a connection of trust and support with patients
- Listen to client’s goals and assess client needs
- Create individualized treatment plans according to client needs and circumstances
- Consistently meet with clients for therapy, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document and maintain accurate electronic client records
- Administer, analyze and document assessments as needed
- Develop discharge plans as needed
- Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when appropriate
- Maintain client confidentiality
- Follow all safety protocols
- Contact and coordinate with other therapists or resources as needed
- Maintain current licensure and credentialing
- Attend and participate in trainings retreats or workshops
- Contribute to the practice by accomplishing other related tasks as needed

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or related field
- Current with state licensing requirements in field of study in either Illinois or Pennsylvania
- One year of counseling experience
