Philosophy—Adjunct Faculty
The School of Humanities, Education, and Social Sciences and Department of Philosophy & Religion at Baldwin Wallace University seek applicants for one, or multiple, part-time adjunct faculty position(s).
The successful candidate will demonstrate competence at teaching one or more of the following topics: introduction to philosophy, ancient philosophy, and philosophy of science and technology. The candidate(s) will join a community of equally committed teacher-scholars who see their role in preparing the next generation of students as both a privilege and a tremendous responsibility. The Department of Philosophy & Religion at Baldwin Wallace is known for balancing its rigorous and comprehensive liberal arts courses with innovative approaches and personal attention to its students.
Professional qualifications:
An MA or Ph.D. in Philosophy is required, and candidate(s) must provide documentation of teaching effectiveness. Previous college teaching experience is preferred. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity through their teaching, research, learning, and/or community engagement.
