As a receptionist you will perform routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistant, data processing, and recordkeeping. Westminster Village Benefits
Westminster Village is seeking a part-time receptionist available on Monday evenings from 4:15pm-9:00pm, working some weekends, and some holidays. Apply now to join our fantastic team at Westminster Village!
Duties:

Responsible for the smooth operation of the front office and mailroom area.

Provide a positive “first impression” of Westminster Village by greeting and assisting residents and visitors.

Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the Westminster Village campus.

Respond to emergency situations.

Familiarize oneself with location and use of firefighting equipment, alarms and disaster procedures.

Assist with sorting, distribution and forwarding of mail to residents and staff of Westminster Village and Martin Health Center.

Receive packages and deliveries on behalf of Westminster Village and residents.

Handle monetary transactions and balance cash on hand.

Submit maintenance and housekeeping work orders.

Schedule van transportation for residents.

Schedule guest room reservations.

Assist residents in submitting supportive care menus.

Assist residents in making meal reservations and signing up for events/outings.

Maintain records of residents who are temporarily away from the Westminster Village campus.

Answer general questions regarding Westminster Village and direct individuals to the appropriate department for further information as needed.

Complete general office tasks as assigned (i.e. typing, making copies, etc.)

Assist with special projects as assigned.

Attend educational meetings planned for this position.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. General office training/procedures, ability to work well with others. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience operating a multi-line phone system. Excellent communication skills.
