Certified Pesticide Applicator
Position Summary:
The Certified Pesticide Applicator is responsible for the safe and effective application of pesticides to control pests in a variety of settings of agricultural properties. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all pesticide applications, as well as complying with all state and federal regulations related to pesticide use.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and accurately mix and apply pesticides to control pests in agricultural settings
- Monitor and inspect properties to identify pest problems and determine the appropriate method of treatment
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all pesticide applications, including the type and amount of pesticide used, location of application, and any precautions taken
- Comply with all state and federal regulations related to pesticide use, including obtaining and maintaining a valid pesticide applicator's license
- Educate other employees on the proper use and handling of pesticides, as well as any necessary precautions
- Maintain equipment and supplies in good working condition
Requirements:
- Valid pesticide applicator's license in the Nevada
- Ability to read and interpret technical materials and instructions
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies, as well as perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
