Overview:
The IT Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology infrastructure and service desk operations. All aspects of networks, servers, desktops, telephony, and technical support will be directly managed by this role. The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead a team of skilled System Administrators and Support Technicians fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. This position will be required to maintain and enforce organizational and technology related policies while ensuring service levels are met within established parameters. Vendor management and cybersecurity best practices are essential aspects of this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT infrastructure professionals to provide a platform supporting the organization’s vision and strategic goals.
· Responsible for overseeing day-to-day production support across multiple locations.
· Ensure system, network, and applications are performant and reliable.
· Provide oversight, guidance and direction to all staff, contractors, and vendors under the scope of this role applying knowledge from performance metrics to maintain exemplary end-user satisfaction.
· Facilitate the installation, configuration, security, operation, and maintenance of all servers, equipment, and software related to business applications infrastructure.
· Manage user end-point device life cycles including imaging, deployments, and patch management.
· Maintain hardware, software, vendor, and process asset management inclusive of versioning and retirement tracking.
· Oversee and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, IAM, PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS across multiple sites and domains.
· Lead strategic cloud and on-premises infrastructure vision, roadmap, lifecycle planning, modernization and innovation efforts.
· Create and track infrastructure budgets and maintain transactional detail across vendors maximizing optimization in performance vs expenditure.
· Oversee the design, execution, support, and of disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup solutions / processes in coordination with the IT GRC Manager.
· Recommend and implement security protocols adhering to policies and procedures.
· Facilitate continuous improvement efforts, ensuring operation in the most effective manner, while collaborating with other IT team members and partners.
· Apply project management techniques and tactics to drive results across a wide span of initiatives and cross-functional teams.
· Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and other external parties.
· Manage the inflow and assignment of projects, maintenance activities and incidents through active oversight while maintaining appropriate and sustainable skilled staffing levels.
· Act as an escalation point and facilitator for severe, critical, or unique and sensitive issues.
· Direct all technology related on/off boarding activities connected with employees, contractors, and vendors not limited to provisioning of accounts, equipment, and training.
· Co-author related IT documentation, policies, and procedures through collaboration with all IT leadership.
· Comply with security processes, audits, and related logging compliant with policies and directives set forth by the IT GRC Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervise a team of employees. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, a related field or equivalent work experience required.
· 6-10 years of related experience and/or training in Information Technology and Infrastructure, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 3+ years of experience in leadership and managing a team of technical infrastructure professionals.
· Architectural and operational experience in AWS and Azure demonstrating hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions.
· MCSA, MCSE, ITIL, Network+, PMP and/or similar certifications highly preferred.
· Experience with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
· Working knowledge of software, hardware, network architecture, Linux, Windows, Microsoft Server, and other IT systems.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
· Cisco, Unifi, Meraki, Site-to-Site VPN expertise preferred.
· Possesses command over emerging cloud and infrastructure technologies / best practices and/or industry specific certification.
· Detail-oriented, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Aptitude for troubleshooting and solving complex issues through creative solutions.
· Preferred administration, operational, and support experience of the following services/applications: Okta, Active Directory (AD), RingCentral, Datto, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Service Desk ConnectWise.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).
