As a Merchant Services Salesman at Priority Payment Solutions, you will be responsible for prospecting, acquiring, and maintaining relationships with business clients in need of payment processing solutions. You will promote our comprehensive suite of merchant services, including credit card processing, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and e-commerce solutions. Your primary goal will be to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect and Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients within your assigned territory. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other effective methods.
Consultative Selling: Understand each client's unique needs and business requirements. Provide tailored merchant service solutions and recommendations to meet their specific payment processing needs.
Sales Presentations: Conduct informative and persuasive presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of our merchant services. Address client questions and objections effectively.
Quota Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by the company. Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports.
Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients. Provide ongoing support and assistance to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and our own product developments. Continuously expand your knowledge of merchant services.
Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. Ensure that all transactions and client interactions are conducted in a compliant and ethical manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in merchant services or related sales, with a minimum of [X] years of experience.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, credit card terminals, POS systems, and e-commerce solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
