Category Manager / Trade Analyst

Position Type: Sales
Overview:
This role will be hands-on, dynamic and multifaceted. It involves actively engaging with Sales, Cross-functional Departments and Executive team, contributing to sales strategies, and being an integral part of achieving sales goals.
You will be tasked with projects to optimize the sales and profitability of the Camco sales channels (traditional, distributor, dealer network and others as needed). Ensure that company goals related to sales, profit, product listings, and deduction management are achieved.
Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Trend Identification:
- Analyzing data and insights to determine industry and consumer trends.
- Identifying opportunities and challenges within the category.
- Strategic Product Planning:
- Devising long-term development strategies for product categories within retail customers

Creating exit strategies for unsuccessful products.

Brand Destination and Display Development Lead:
- Working cross functionally on projects to develop best in class branded store displays.

Product Positioning and Marketing:

Determining product positioning within the market with an explicit knowledge of the competitive landscape.

Collaborating with marketing teams and agencies to create effective promotional strategies.

Comprehensive Understanding and Utilization of Forecasting Demand and Inventory Management:
- Product demand based on market trends and historical data.

Stock levels to meet consumer demands.

Monitoring inventory turnover and restocking decisions.

Pricing Strategy:

Working with Marketing and Finance to set competitive prices for products.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
