Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, common areas, and public spaces in the hotel
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and mop floors
- Change bed linens and towels
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries and supplies
- Empty trash and remove waste
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and guest service
Experience:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards for cleanliness
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Skills:
- Custodial skills for maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas
- Ability to clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures and surfaces
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals
- Experience with floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Understanding of housekeeping management principles for efficient operations in a hotel setting
