Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide anesthesia services under the direction of an anesthesiologist and work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for an ophthalmology surgical center,
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients in the recovery room
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Experience in emergency medicine
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and pharmacology
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a ACS setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience administering injections and managing pain relief protocols
- Proficient in IV insertion techniques
- Understanding of sterile processing techniques for equipment and supplies
