COMPANY OVERVIEW
SpectronRx is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) based in Indianapolis, IN, with additional locations in South Bend and Bunker Hill, IN, Danbury, CT and Europe. We are seeking an experienced Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing company. The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining our manufacturing processes related to custom tools, products, and equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Lead the implementation and workflow processes of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution.
· Conduct time and materials studies to ensure accuracy of data in ERP.
· Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow charts, and standard operating procedures.
· Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
· Lead the development and implementation of new equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency.
· Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including design engineers, technicians, and machinists to ensure efficiency of manufacturing operations.
· Lead process improvement projects to increase manufacturing productivity.
· Lead and implement a raw material inventory management system.
· Establish and maintain appropriate inventory levels for standard stocked products.
· Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of materials and components.
· Provides support to business processes, e.g., capital planning.
· Applies knowledge and best practices to make continuous improvement recommendations to drive results and provide input into best practice development.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

TRAVEL
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience with assembly and manufacturability.
· Experience with leading and active participation in the manufacturing portion of new ERP implementations; including the development of workflows that achieve accurate and efficient manufacturing costs and lead-times. (Oracle NetSuite preferred)
· Thorough understanding of several different manufacturing processes for producing tools, equipment, and standard product lines.
· Strong aptitude for development of manufacturing process flows.
· Comprehensive computer skills: ERP, CAD, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· The ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing intent.
· Ability to take minimal direction and produce positive results.
· Ability to research and develop new manufacturing management methods and trends.
· Effectively communicate manufacturing processes to management.
· Work independently with limited direction.
· Ability to train and be trained.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
