Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Duties:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and post-discharge care
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in [state]
- Minimum [x] years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Medical/Surgical
- Proficient in home care, medication administration, airway management, and ER protocols
- Experience working with children, memory care patients, and performing mammography is a plus
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
