Your Mission:
As the senior HR leader at CASL, you will be an integral part of our leadership team, dedicated to building a supportive and dynamic HR structure. You will lead a broad range of HR programs, including talent acquisition, performance management, diversity and inclusion, employee relations, engagement, training and leadership development, compliance, HRIS, compensation, and benefits.

Your Impact:
As the VP of Human Resources you will:
Key Responsibilities:
Growth and Sustainability:

Provide strategic leadership, aligning HR initiatives with CASL’s mission and goals.

Collaborate with executive leadership to design and implement people-driven strategies for current and future needs.

Develop workforce plans and budgets, supporting new program launches.
-
Create and promote HR programs in diversity & inclusion, development, and performance management to enhance our talent pipeline.

Serve as a cultural champion, developing solutions to unify and engage our workforce with flexible work schedules, remote options, and compliance adherence.

Drive the adoption of HR technology to streamline processes and enable data-driven decisions.
Quality and Impactful Service:

Evaluate staff performance and identify areas for program and process improvement.

Lead a total rewards strategy that enhances CASL’s employer brand.

Partner with directors and managers to resolve employee relations issues.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
-
Develop policies and practices to mitigate HR-related risks and liabilities.
Leadership:

Lead staff communication initiatives and design presentations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Serve as the chief compliance and HR legal agent, leading workplace safety.

Respond to employment-related government agency challenges and drive policy changes.

Implement engagement initiatives to improve employee retention, productivity, and job satisfaction.

Establish key performance indicators and metrics to benchmark organizational progress.

Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals to deliver high-quality services.
External Relations:

Engage with educational institutions and community partners to position CASL as an employer of choice.

Represent CASL at community and professional events.
Environment and Scheduling:

Work is performed during standard business hours, Monday through Friday with a hybrid/flexible schedule
Must Haves:
To thrive in this role, you should have:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
-
10+ years of HR experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.

Effective communication with a multilingual population.

Strong skills in systems analysis, emotional intelligence, negotiation, decision-making, and service orientation.

Proficiency in technology and HRIS.
-
Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
-
Strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership expertise.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisory, and leadership skills.
Nice to Haves:

SHRM Senior Certified Professional or SPHR certification preferred.

Master’s or MBA preferred.
