Responsibilities
The Financial Planner position brings technical expertise to the firm and has responsibility for delivering financial planning advice to clients. They serve as a resource and researcher of financial planning issues. They work collaboratively with the firm’s advisors to support the delivery of services to clients. This includes helping clients understand their financial circumstances and opportunities to reach their short- and long-term financial objectives based on their specific financial situations and goals.
· Assess clients’ financial situations and prepare and maintain comprehensive financial plans for clients consistent with each client’s goals.
· Analyze results, develop recommendations, and partner with Financial Advisors to deliver to clients.
· Coordinate with Financial Advisors and team members to provide an outstanding client experience and identify additional opportunities to add value.
- Assist with additional client support and coordination with outside resources as applicable based on client needs.
- Maintain technical expertise and serve as an in-house expert on financial planning, providing advice and updates to team as appropriate.
- Pursue continued education opportunities and networking and follow industry-specific research and publications.
· Maintain an efficient and effective planning process consistent with firm and client needs.
- Utilize appropriate software and tools to ensure accurate and timely client communications and reporting and maintenance of client records and files.
· Build a fee-based Wealth Management Practice that focuses on planning for Individuals and Corporations
· Assist Financial Advisors with current client accounts and adapt to our team-based environment
· Build relationships with potential clients who are in the market for a new solution to their wealth management needs
· Coordinating account transfers and confirm cost basis information for incoming assets
· Populating and maintaining systems data and client files
· Verifying client account cash balances, generating and reviewing monthly available cash report
· Working directly with third-party Custodians, Advisors and Operations staff to meet critical deadlines and industry cut-off times
· Other projects, responsibilities, and duties as assigned.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· 1+ years of financial services experience
· Series 65, or combination of Series 7 and 66
· CFP designation or pursuit of the CFP designation preferred
· Experience with CRMs (Redtail), financial planning software (RightCapital, Elements) and Fidelity Wealthscape and Schwab Advisor Center is a plus
Compensation Components
· Base Salary - covers day-to-day role expectations and tenure
· Business Development Incentive: 40% of new revenue (in the first year billed) paid semi-annually in July and January.
· Team-Based Incentive: as firm revenue grows, 30% of annual growth is distributed back to team members. Allocation is determined based on relative contribution to the team.
· Incentives are paid semi-annually in June and December.

· Retirement Plan - participation in 401k Profit Sharing plan where we match the first 6% of your contributions and profit sharing contribution.
Other - Ability to come into the office on a regular weekly basis (hybrid work schedules are available, however this position is not remote)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
