The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire cafe operation, including kitchen, bar, and customer service areas.
- Lead and manage a team of staff members, including baristas, cooks, and servers.
- Supervise and mentor staff members to ensure they are providing excellent customer service and maintaining high-quality food and beverages.
- Assist with the ordering and inventory management of supplies and ingredients.
- Ensure cash handling and POS operations are conducted accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling customer complaints and feedback.
- Assist with marketing and promotional activities to increase cafe sales and visibility.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to develop strategies to improve cafe performance.
- Conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for cafe staff.
Skills
- Proven experience in a cafe or restaurant management role.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management and food preparation.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Experience with restaurant management and hospitality industry standards.
- Ability to cook and prepare food and beverages to a high standard.
- Ability to interview and hire staff members.
- Experience with assistant management roles.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
