The Credit Analyst plays a crucial role in producing relevant customer evaluations and gathering legal and financial data to produce a comprehensive assessment of credit risk for both prospective and current customers. Given the complex nature of our customer relationships, advanced financial analysis and critical thinking skills are essential. The analyst is tasked with approving appropriate credit risk exposure within their established authority limits. Additionally, they are tasked with composing underwriting documentation that substantiates their decisions and will present recommendations to management for evaluations that exceed authorized limits. This documentation encompasses an assessment of the customer's historical and anticipated fiscal performance and judgements about the customer’s ability to navigate existing and potential future risks.
Position Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk, or a related field.
Knowledge & Experience
- Desirable 2+ years of prior experience in a similar financial or analytical role.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Experience with QuickBooks, PDI, and Power BI is a plus.

Work Environment
- Standard 40-hour role with occasional overtime as required. Hybrid work schedule available once training is completed (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). Training could take up to 6 months or more, depending on the person.
- Extended periods of sitting as part of the work routine.
- Proficient use of hands and fingers for operating a computer keyboard, mouse, and other components.
