Set Solutions are seeking a talented and experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our client on a 6 month contract with potential conversion. The Senior ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet our clients' business needs. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow platform, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, forms, and scripts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation using ServiceNow.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, and assist in resolving complex technical issues.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the ServiceNow platform.
- Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow applications to ensure functionality, performance, and security standards are met.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, with expertise in ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow Developer certification.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and other web services.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- ServiceNow Advanced System Administration certification is a plus.
