We’re hiring a loan partner who will work directly alongside our loan origination staff to help our applicants through the mortgage loan process. You’ll get applicants mortgage ready, prepare paperwork, and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. Compensation:
$84,000 - $105,000 yearly
Responsibilities:-
Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch manager, and assigned mortgage loan originator and conduct meetings to coordinate any follow-up items
- Check all loan package documents for complete accuracy and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer/ loan originator
- Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed
- Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
- Develop and maintain referral partner relationships

Take and process applications from borrowers

Guide borrowers through the mortgage process for home purchases and refinances

Research competitive mortgage rates and interest rates, and negotiate terms to find ideal mortgage product and lender for potential borrowers

Ensure a smooth mortgage process by working with the borrower’s real estate agent, mortgage professionals such as closing agents, and financial institution department underwriters
Qualifications:-
Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
- Preferably 5+ years of experience in a professional office or mortgage environment as a mortgage loan officer assistant or similar position
- Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients
- NMLS license is required before start date
