Northwest Hills Surgical Hospital is looking to fill its Infection Control / Quality Registered Nurse position. Qualified candidates will have the ability to complete the following job requirements:
- Develop curriculum as necessary to meet clinical needs and Joint Commission standards
- Train clinical staff to ensure proper techniques are used.
- Lead quality initiatives including process improvement, providing trends on quality data.
- Use database tools such as Access and Excel to effectively track, analyze and maintain information.
- Plan, organize, develop, and implement infection control programs for all hospital employees to increase employee awareness; improve prevention and/or avoidance techniques to provide a safe environment for hospital patients and employees.
- Participate in maintaining policies and procedures that provide evidence-based practices to provide effective screening measures for employees and safe patient care.
- Conduct new-hire screenings and annual employee health information updates.
- Plan, organize and implement OSHA tuberculosis prevention plan.
- Coordinate all Lab activities including Perform lab maintenance on all point of care devices
- Maintain all lab supplies
- Ensure blood bank documentation is up to date
Successful candidates will work with the Department Managers to assess needs, develop curriculum, and implement programs that benefit employees, patients, physicians, and vendors.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
