Purpose
Under the direction of the Purchasing Director, the Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for all building functions and ensuring a safe, clean, functional work environment.
Essential Functions
· Oversee day-to-day facility maintenance and operations at our Corporate Headquarters
· Manage relationships and contracts with outside suppliers and service providers to ensure quality, timely and cost-effective service.
· Conduct inspections of the building and grounds, proactively identify areas needing attention, and perform minor repairs as needed.
· Responsible for replacing light bulbs, filters, and other facility items that need to be replaced after their service life has expired.
· Requisition general building supplies, monitor inventory, and unload deliveries.
· Plans, schedules, and coordinates with outside vendors, contractors, and technicians performing facilities and maintenance-related work.
· Assist with setting up events that are hosted at the facility and at times off site.
· Oversees the security of the buildings and grounds.
· Create guidelines and procedures for facilities services and operations and communicates with these stakeholders.
· Manages capital projects related to the maintenance of the facility and grounds.
· Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Education/Experience Required
· A minimum of 1-3 years in Facilities Services Coordination.
· Strong knowledge of general facilities maintenance, services, and systems with the ability to grasp and implement technical solutions.
· GED or High school diploma.
· Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.
· Superior customer service skills and orientation.
· This is a part-time 20 hours up to 30 hours per week position.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Have the ability to coordinate the following:
· Well-versed in facilities management best practices.
· Knowledge of basic electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.
· Troubleshooting ability
· Excellent verbal and communication skills.
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
· Ethical Conduct.
Physical Requirements
·Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.
·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
·Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
·Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.

· General building maintenance interior & exterior – painting, spot cleaning carpets, etc.
· Responsible for general supplies such as cleaning products, paper towel, tissue, copy paper, coffee, etc.
· Assist with set-up for large company events
· Running general errands
· Project Manager for any building-related projects -new roof, adding additional workspaces, window replacements, door replacements, etc.
