We are seeking a Network Administrator to join our team in support of the PHNSY Contract.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, test, operate, maintain, and manage networks, including networking equipment and software, to ensure the secure and reliable transmission of data while maintaining data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Provide network engineering and administration operations on Layer 2 (L2) and Layer 3 (L3) switch and router devices, ensuring a secure and operational network environment compliant with government policies and regulations.

Conduct daily network checks, configurations, vulnerability management, system upgrades, and application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), including implementing a deny-by-default posture and network defense operations on L2 and L3 infrastructure.

Administrate data ingress and egress for all information entering and leaving the protected enclave via firewalls and other network defense layers.

Install and maintain network infrastructure device operating system software and network device configurations, optimization, patching, securing, and associated drawings and diagrams.

Maintain the availability and functionality of network core, distribution switching, and edge switching, including associated drawings and diagrams.

Troubleshoot and repair network systems to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Maintain the security posture of network systems through proactive measures and timely updates.

Keep auditable records of system and configuration changes to ensure compliance and traceability.

Draft weekly and monthly reports on network activities and performance.
This is a full time, salaried, exempt position.
Salary Range: $90K to $150K DOE
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.

Security+ Certification.

CCNA Certification within 6 months of hire.

5+ years of experience designing, managing, and/or administering Cisco Unified Communications Manager systems.

Experience with Palo-Alto Firewalls is desirable.

Strong understanding of network engineering and administration, with a focus on L2 and L3 infrastructure.

Ability to manage and maintain secure network environments in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with network system repair.

Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate and auditable records.

Must have a “Secret” level security clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
