Maintenance Supervisor - New Albany, IN

Integrity Trade Services is hiring a
Maintenance Supervisor for our award-winning construction client who specializes in crane services, machine installation, steel fabrication and erection, and precision leveling and alignment services.
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for planning, leading, and managing maintenance craft personnel on various projects including major maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, process deviations and repair of all machinery.
- Ensures that high standards of safety are developed, met and maintained at all facilities.
- Ensures that all facilities and grounds are maintained in accordance with relevant regulations, company standards, and fiscal consideration.
- Ensures that major equipment and furnishings are maintained in safe, operable condition and/or arrange for replacement.
- May arrange or provide training for personnel as it relates to the safety and maintenance needs of employees.
- Notify management of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action taken or supplies needed.
- Takes independent actions and calculated risks; Responds promptly to customer needs, seeks opportunities to improve processes and implements creative solutions.
- Provides full attention to what other people are saying, respectfully communicates by taking time to understand the points being made and asks questions at appropriate times to obtain clarification.
- Efficiently answer and respond to questions regarding projects and resolve maintenance issues without supervision.
Location: New Albany, IN
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00am-3:30pm
- Must be available On-Call
Requirements:
- Five to ten years of supervisory experience in comparable levels of the maintenance or manufacturing field.
- Management or Supervisory related experience developing, implementing and enforcing personnel policies and procedures; evaluating employees and conducting performance reviews.
- Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of management and audiences with diverse backgrounds and educational levels.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain logical follow-through on all projects
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high volume environment and ensure department and company goals and deadlines are met on schedule and efficiently.
- Good physical condition required – some lifting and outside work. Lifting up to 80 pounds, and 50 pounds repetitively.
- 5 years’ experience repairing CNC equipment PLC servo drivers, AC/DC drives and electronic boards.
- Must have valid driver’s license and be able to operate ground carts and forklift equipment.
- Must be able to perform diagnostics, trouble shooting using gauges, meters & P.C.
- Must have the following Mechanical & Hydraulic repair skills.
- Must be able to read, understand and use electrical schematics for trouble shooting.
- Must have own hand tools.
