Job Description
The Legal Support Manager plays a crucial role in supporting CCMR3’s litigation channel. This role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative and support functions ensuring the efficient operations of the department. This role involves supervising legal support staff, managing day-to-day operations of the legal network, ensuring outside counsel partners’ compliance with legal procedures and clients’ collections policies, and tracking and analyzing legal data.
Position Responsibilities:
· Vendor Management
o Maintain a comprehensive database of the litigation channel vendors
o Monitor and evaluate SLA performance metrics
o Complete a periodic QA review of the litigation channel vendors
· Legal Processes Management
o Manage the day-to-day operations of the legal support team
o Document and maintain policies and procedures
o Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
· Data Analysis and Reporting
o Develop and implement metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of the legal network
o Prepare regular reporting on the status, performance and cost of the litigation efforts
o Use data and analytics to improve the efficiency of the legal network
· Staff Management
o Supervise and mentor the legal support team
o Coordinate training and development
Required Qualifications:
· Demonstrated experience working in legal environment
· Demonstrated experience in vendor management and understanding of SLA performance metrics
· Knowledge and understanding of litigation collections practices, processes and operations
· Knowledge and understanding of federal and state laws pertaining to Consumer and Commercial collections
· Knowledge and understanding of litigation recovery channels
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
