We are a boutique financial services practice located in downtown Tampa, with a passionate team committed to serving others and are seeking an ambitious branch operations manager to join our firm. This career position directly works on all aspects of the firm's performance, infrastructure, clients, and back-office operations. 2+ years of experience is required or else the equivalent in financial services.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker that must enjoy problem solving, originality, and be able to wear multiple hats while managing and prioritizing operations. The position requires business knowledge of the role of the Financial Advisor and the ability to deliver tools and applications that support the recurring lifecycle of financial planning and the implementation of same. These duties include the identification and processing of complex documents; the application of analysis using input from industry and subject matter experts; providing comprehensive solutions to complex problem; building process, developing and maintaining schedules and calendars, client relations, and social media.
You must be attentive to detail, have strong follow through, be able to work independently, and have a latitude for improving process.
This position will have extensive contact with internal clients.
What You'll Do:
- Manage day to day operations of the firm.
- Use knowledge of financial business systems and processes to develop solutions to specific problems and create process.
- Serve as functional support to advisor.
- Process new business, service clients, answer and manage phones, manage scheduling and calendars.
- Interpret client input and clarify issues.
- Prepare materials and case illustrations for client meetings.
- Organize files, track cases, and generate related status reports for case review.
- Facilitate underwriting of life insurance.
- Engage in securities trading.
What Skill Set You Should Have (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of wealth planning, goals-based planning, and experience in banking and finance and securities industry.
- Understanding of branch operations and advisor-facing issues.
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail and record keeping.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to proofread with accuracy, and possess strong attention to detail in your work.
- Must be able to promptly exercise judgment and decision making, be able to develop effective approaches for courses of actions, and create solutions thereto.
- Ability to follow directions, yet work independently.
- Desire to act as support and to contribute to the continuous evolution of the firm
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: specifically, Word and Excel.
- Experience in CRM software.
- MINIMUM 2+ years in Financial Services (Absolute Necessity).
- Must be able to work full time. Hours are generally 9:00 to 5:00 M-F.
- Must be able to utilize Microsoft Teams.

This position will pay between $55,000/year to $65,000/year depending on experience and other skills or attributes. There will be a ninety (90) day probationary period. Must pass background check.
**This is not a remote position. This position does and will require in office attendance**
