H & M Landscaping is looking for a self-motivated, experienced Purchasing Assistant.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Provides quotes for plant and materials for jobs.
- Coordinates delivery of plants and materials to the company nursery/yard and/or job sites.
- Processes purchase orders for all Landscaping/Snow entity.
- Assesses material transfers for Landscaping and Snow.
- Reviews and updates catalog for accuracy and ensures materials are available.
- Tracks and reviews all plan, material and bulk material.
- Catalogs updates to reflect availability and pricing.
- Issues invoices for all vendors.
- Controls and tracks inventory for Landscaping and Snow.
- Opens all contract notifications and change orders.
- Checks bulk bins and places orders, if needed.
- Transfers fuel in catalog.
- Attends and participates in weekly office meetings.
- Audits invoices for accuracy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
*Depending on qualifications and experience, this position could be elevated to a Purchasing Manager.
