We are currently look to add an additional engineer to our firewall and network management team. Candidates should possess a strong background in enterprise and/or service provider networking. A strong knowledge of Palo Alto or Fortinet firewalls, as well as general switching and routing experience is also required. This is a full-time remote position with on-call response duties. Candidates must be US based.
Qualified candidates should possess the following before applying:

At least 2 years experience in routing and switching deployments
- A minimum of 1 year experience in managing multiple firewalls in diverse environments
- Experience in multiple firewall deployments
- A strong practical and theoretical knowledge of dynamic routing protocols
- Hands on experience in both site-to-site and client-to-site VPN deployments
- A firm grasp IP protocol analysis and troubleshooting
- Excellent written communications skills and the desire to resolve problems
- Generation and presentation of firewall change log and policy reports
- Ability to effectively communicate with IT managers and staff
- Ability to work remotely with a team of other engineers and analysts
- Comfort in working within a Linux or Unix environment
Duties Include:

Responding, reviewing, and fulfilling change review requests with process
- Configuration of new firewalls for deployments
- Testing and troubleshooting firewall policies and operations
- Assisting with general network troubleshooting and design
- Responding to automated alerting
- Generation of policy reviews and change reports
