Primary Job Duties
Mixes and weighs dyes and Chemicals for finished use by production finishing and dying equipment in the plant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of machine operator experience
- Safety and detail oriented
- Organized and able to work with limited supervision
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel data entry)
- Basic math skills (including grams and percentages)
- Self-paced work environment
- Follow company attendance policy
- Work safely around chemicals used in dye formulation and re-work process
PHYSICAL/MENTAL/VISUAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This job takes place in a manufacturing environment
- Work is physical in nature along with standing and walking a majority of the time
- Must have ability to bend, kneel, climb, and reach
- Must have good vision and be able to see color
- Some computer use at machine workstation
- Must be able to reach bucket at knee level
- Climb stairs and 3’ high platform to reach tanks
- Able to move 50lbs buckets or bagged chemicals to smaller quantity
- Must be able to exert up to 25 lbs. of force frequently, and 50 lbs. of force occasionally
- Noise level is monitored through a hearing conservation program
- Responsibilities may occasionally require adjusted work schedules and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines
LANGUAGE/COMUNICATION SKILLS:
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with associates in manufacturing, warehouse, and quality.
Available to work 11:00pm – 7:00am Sunday - Thursday
