Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced K-12 Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through both inbound leads and outbound prospecting. With a balanced focus on account-based marketing strategies, the role requires spending 50% of the time nurturing leads and 50% on outbound prospecting and cold calling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow sales through existing and new accounts, focusing on understanding customer needs and providing solutions.
- Utilize account-based marketing techniques to target and engage key decision-makers in the education sector.
- Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Present and demonstrate the value of DataWORKS products and services, including training programs and educational materials.
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and customer feedback, in the CRM system.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements:
- Must have a solid background in K-12 sales.
- Proven experience in sales in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of account-based marketing and experience in both inbound and outbound sales processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and persuade decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
