Housekeeper
Job Summary
- The housekeeper performs routine cleaning and laundry tasks in the Saint Peter rectory office and living quarters.
Relationship to Administration
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Extends hospitality to visitors at Saint Peter rectory.
- Performs routine cleaning in Saint Peter rectory office and living quarters according to designated schedule (weekly, monthly, annually).
- Ensures that guests find a hospitable and clean atmosphere in guest bedroom and guest bathroom.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies and equipment for the rectory with the assistance of the Administrative Assistant and parish maintenance staff.
- Reports to the Pastor and/or the Administrative Assistant on the condition and needs for the maintenance of the rectory.
- Works collaboratively with parish and school employees and volunteers.
- Maintains confidentiality on all matters of a sensitive and personal nature that transpire in the rectory, parish, and school.
- Fulfills other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- General housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry skills.
- Knowledge and experience in use of housekeeping and laundry equipment, tools, and chemicals.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
