Power Technology, Inc., a global leader in laser technology with over 50 years of experience, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. We specialize in designing, developing, and manufacturing an extensive range of laser products for a variety of industries, including scientific, biomedical, industrial, semiconductor inspection, machine vision, defense, and security applications - just to name a few!

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with Power Technology's entire product line to commercial, government, and university customers
- Identify current and future customer needs through sales discovery, and offer tailored solutions
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering product and technical information, price quotations, product training, and facilitating decision-making processes
Competencies:
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical topics
- Positive attitude and pleasant phone/in-person manners
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Previous sales or engineering experience required
Requirements:
- B2B sales experience in a technology-related field
- Familiarity with laser technology or similar industries is a plus, but not required
- Technical and business writing skills, as well as strong verbal communication for presentations and proposals
Additional Details:
- Salary + commission pay structure
- Occasional travel within the US required (6-7 trips per year maximum, ranging from 2-3 days to Sunday-Friday for tradeshows)
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position
