Description/Job Summary
Berkshire Associates is a human resource consulting and technology firm that specializes in helping companies build their ideal, balanced workforce. We have an immediate opening for an Associate HR Consultant to prepare Affirmative Action plans and provide consulting to small and mid-size employers. This position also provides support on project teams for larger clients and other HR-related projects, as well as facilitating software-related training. Responsibilities/Duties
The Associate HR Consultant completes Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) and related reports for small to mid-size clients. This position also provides Affirmative Action consulting to clients, works on project teams for large clients, and facilitates software-related trainings.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

Completes multiple client contracts to create Affirmative Action Plans, EEO-1 reports, VETS-4212 reports, and other government reporting for small and mid-size employers with up to 15 plans, within defined profitability and quality measures and with a customer service focus.

Onboards new small AAP clients in accordance with standard operating procedures to describe data requirements, compliance requirements and the AAP development process.

Provides in-depth consulting and guidance on Affirmative Action concepts, the AAP development process, and AAP results through day-to-day communications and plan review meetings.

Prepares audit Affirmative Action Plans at the direction of the Managing Consultant and/or Audit Advisor.

Assists Managing HR Consultants, Senior HR Consultants, and HR Consultants to complete assigned tasks for consulting projects with more than 15 plans.

Facilitates balanceAAP Collaborative Plan Development training.

Generates and maintains documentation of work progress and other information, utilizing internal account and project management tools as appropriate.
Required Skills

Working knowledge of affirmative action principles and regulations preferred.

Working knowledge of human resources concepts and federal and state employment laws required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel required

Working knowledge of balanceAAP or simiar AAP software preferred.

Preferred Skills

Working knowledge of affirmative action principles and regulations preferred.

Working knowledge of balanceAAP or similar AAP software preferred.
Required Experience
2 years of human resources experience, and at least working knowledge of affirmative action principles and regulations preferred. Or, one year successfully working as a Sr. Client Project Analyst at Berkshire Associates.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources preferred. Or, equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for each year of education required.
Required Qualifications
Travel of up to 10% is possible.

Salary: $55,000 - $69,000 a year.
