Gator Chef is looking for equipment sales professionals who are eager to grow. This job will facilitate restaurant equipment purchases by dealing with chefs, consultants, architects, general contractors, and restaurant professionals looking for the right piece of equipment for their application. This position is a vital role with Gator Chef and is responsible for the management and oversight of the entire project from start to finish of each job. Gator Chef always operates under the moto 'Under Promise and Over Deliver.' Our customer is always first, and we do whatever it takes for them.
Responsibilities
- Create new avenue of relationships through end users, architects, consultants, chefs, industry professionals, and more.
- Discuss potential needs for restaurants, schools, and more of the best equipment for the job
- Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics
- Review supplies to ensure quality
- Attend events, fairs and exhibitions to keep abreast of the market’s trends
- Assist with customers in showroom. Supplying quotes, equipment information or processing a sale.
Skills
- Proven experience as a sales person.
- Be able to effectively communicate with chefs, architects, service agents, consultants and other industry peers.
- Demonstrate experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong analytical mindset
- Outstanding organizational skills
- BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be considered a plus
- Minimum High School diploma
- Knowledge of restaurant equipment
- Customer service, professional communication and decision-making skills.
- Bilingual, Spanish, is a plus
