Job Description: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift Schedule:
- Wednesday and Thursday: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (8-hour shifts)
- Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Perform imaging procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring accurate alignment and exposure.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
- Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to interpret and communicate imaging results.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the imaging area, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a JRCERT-approved radiology program.
- Active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in operating radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
