JOB TITLE: Spa Attendant

Spa Attendant possesses exceptional guest relations and communication skills. They maintain a working knowledge of all spa services, answer questions about the spa and its amenities and manage the spa schedule throughout the day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Spa Attendant is responsible for orientating guests to the spa facilities, greeting guests as they enter the facilities, and providing personal guest service.
- They are responsible for keeping the lounge, locker room, fitness center and other guest areas neat, clean, and stocked with all amenities.
- Help therapist turning rooms between guests and with spa laundry when needed.
- Escort guests to their lockers and issue robes and slippers.
- Provide orientation tour, explaining spa amenities offered and answering guests’ questions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized spa environment through consistent monitoring of the lockers, lounge, wet facilities, and co-ed area.
- Stock locker room supplies and amenities and maintain accurate supply lists and inventory sheets; inform management when stock is low.
- Review guest appointment/schedules as needed.
- Help make sure the wet facilities and locker rooms are tidy and clean.
- Maintain floors in wet facilities.
- Assist guests to their appointments as needed.
- Ensure an adequate supply of all guest supplies and amenities within the assigned area and ensure immaculate presentation of these items.
- Ensure treatment rooms are always stocked with linen and supplies.
- Ensures complete guest satisfaction.
- Appropriately utilize reservation systems, maintenance records, and guest experience database as vehicles of communication to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism; accommodate special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints; assist customers in all inquiries in connection with Spa services.
- Always maintain a clean work area.
- Interact with guests and giving them a positive impression of the spa.
- Contribute to the security of the spa facility by monitoring the access of guests and escorting them to treatment areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all spa areas.
- Dispose of trash; bring dirty linens to the proper area for laundering; and stock towels, linens, supplies and amenities in area as needed.
- Maintain orderliness, cleanliness, and presentation of all spa areas.
- Attend all meetings and training required of your department or the company in general.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and managers.
- Ensure compliance of daily opening/closing checklists by walking and ensuring assigned areas are well maintained, stocked, and cleaned to ensure high quality presentation and repair of all equipment.
- Practices the WinStar World Casino and Resort and Winston Hospitality culture.
- Conduct self in a professional manner always and work the hours required.
- Following all spa standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Other duties as assigned. This position may perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs that may be outside the scope of these normal duties.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:
Skills and Specifications
- Punctuality, professionalism and be a self-starter
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must have basic knowledge of sanitation requirements/controls and applications of relevant chemicals.
- Must be well groomed in uniform.
- Must have schedule availability to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must understand and maintain confidentiality in all circumstances.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry upwards to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
- Manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including
10 key adding machines, computers, fax machines, and photo copiers.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Respond to visual and aural cues

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
