We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Typist Clerk to join our remote team. As a Typist Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient data entry and documentation within our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing speed and accuracy, as well as strong organizational and communication skills.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, including entering text and numerical information into spreadsheets, databases, and other digital formats
- Receive and process documents from various sources, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy at all times
- Proofread and verify data to ensure its accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, ensuring proper storage and retrieval
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize work assignments and meet deadlines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in typing software and technology
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience as a typist or data entry clerk
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect errors
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with online collaboration tools and remote work software is a plus
