About the Role:
We’re seeking a proactive and dedicated Facilities and Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this part-time position, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our communities, ensuring they remain safe, reliable, and attractive for our residents. You'll report directly to the Community Manager and collaborate with a fantastic team to provide support as needed.
What You’ll Do:
- Handle tasks related to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA standards and use proper safety gear.
- Maintain and upgrade the community’s physical assets with minimal supervision.
Keep Our Community Beautiful:
- Do daily rounds to pick up trash and ensure everything is clean and tidy.
- Take care of landscaping tasks like mowing lawns, raking leaves, trimming hedges and trees, and keeping the irrigation systems in top shape.
- Clean and maintain buildings, paint structures and signs, and handle various maintenance tasks.
Operate Equipment:
- Use power equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and chainsaws.
- Keep tools and equipment in good working order.
Be Ready for Emergencies:
- Be available to quickly respond to property emergencies with your reliable personal transportation.

Daily Tasks:
- Ensure safety and compliance for all residents.
- Use proper safety gear and comply with OSHA standards.
- Clock in and out accurately and report all hours worked.
- Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Operate power equipment and handle basic landscaping tasks.
- Keep an equipment inventory list up to date.
- HVAC certification is a plus.
What You’ll Need:
- 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
- Skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- HVAC certification is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to climb ladders and lift up to 100 pounds.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to submit to random drug testing.
