Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to fabricate and repair metal parts. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate manual milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations - Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of dimensions - Perform machining operations such as drilling, turning, milling, and grinding - Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery or tools - Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time Requirements: - Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role - Proficient in operating manual milling machines, lathes, and other machining equipment - Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes - Familiarity with reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges - Experience with plastics injection molding is a plus - Knowledge of Mazatrol programming is a plus - Basic math skills for calculations and measurements - Ability to assemble components accurately - Proficiency in using SolidWorks or similar CAD software is preferred - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
